Dealing with Death

I wanted to take the time to thank all of you for being patient with me as I grieve and try to figure out life without one of the men who helped raise me. As most of you are aware, my grandfather passed away on November 5th. I spent most weekends and summers with him and my wife and I moved back to Massachusetts last August to care for him. He died of lung cancer and did in home hospice. It was very difficult for us, but it was what he wanted. He had an iron will and that showed throughout every aspect of his life. Religiously, I have no idea where he stood. He would come hear me preach, but he never wanted to dialogue about his faith. He instilled a strong work ethic in me and although he was always more of a country fan, he was always supportive of my hip-hop career. I miss him every day and am struggling to fill his massive shoes, but by the strength of God and my extremely loving and encouraging family and friends I am getting by. Thank you again for your patience and I hope to be back in business soon.
